We know that Windows 11 will be a free update for all Windows 10 users, and that we will be able to update directly from Windows Update without having to perform a clean installation, however, before upgrading it is good to know that there is a grace period to regret.

In the case of the new Windows, this grace period will be only 10 days. This has been explained by Microsoft in a recently published support document with answers to frequently asked questions about Windows 11: once you update you can perform an automatic regression keeping all your files and data as if nothing had happened.

In the same document, Microsoft explained that they expect to start launching Windows 11 at the end of 2021 and into 2022, this is because the release plan will be progressive, and the time it takes to receive the update will depend on your particular device.
